 Biography

Raymond Fung Sai-hung was born in Hong Kong in 1955. He joined Cinema City in 1980 as an assistant producer and rose to the position of producer in 1981 while also writing scripts, line producing and playing small roles in films.

In 1985, Fung directed his first film, For Your Heart Only, starring Leslie Cheung. He switched to D&B Films in 1986, where he continued to multi-task as director, scriptwriter, line producer and actor. He directed My Family (1986), starring Richard Ng Yiu-hon and Petrina Fung Bo-bo, as well as You’re OK, I’m OK (1987), starring May Lo, for D&B before leaving the company in 1989. He later worked for various film companies including Fu Ngai, Friend Cheers, Media Asia and Film Workshop. He left the film industry after 1999.
