Ho Chi-hang started in the film business as an art director and costume designer, and has participated in over 30 productions. His most frequent collaborator was Herman Yau, with whom he worked on Don’t Fool Me (1991), No More Love No More Death (1993), War of the Underworld (1996), Ebola Syndrome (1996), Master Q 2001 (2001) and Turning Point (2009). Ho also served as the assistant director on Walk In (1997), directed by Herman Yau and on Help (2000) and Throw Down (2004), directed by Johnnie To.
Ho wrote and directed the digital films I’m Stone in Love with You (2001), The Untold Story-Sudden Vanished (2002) and The Untold Story-The Lost World (2002), and in 2004 directed the shot-on-celluloid feature, A Wedding or a Funeral, starring Jim Chim Shui-man.
