After graduating from secondary school in 1988, Tony Tang Tung-ming learned computer 3D animation at an advertising company and established his own advertising firm in 1992. He formed Imagi Animation Studios in 1998 to produce advertising animation and later served as the company's COO before it was bought by Boto International Holdings. After producing the 26-chapter animation series Zentrix in 2002, he left the company in 2005. Tang later formed T-films in 2007, investing $70 million to make the 3D animation Little Gobie (2010), with which he made his directorial debut. After directing the live-action beach volleyball film Beach Spike (2011), he made the English-language animation Sky Force 3D (2012). His latest work is the American animation film Wings: Sky Force Heroes (2014).
