Peter Yuen Ying-ming worked as production assistant at TVB in the early 1980s, moving on to director in 1985, working on such series as Looking Back in Anger (1989) and The Greed of Man (1992) as well as The Legend of the Condor Heroes 1994 (1994), The Condor Heroes 95 (1995), State of Divinity (1996) and The Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils 1996 (1997), the last four second- round adaptations of Louis Cha novels by TVB. in 2000, he went to Mainland China to direct television dramas, making such series as Legendary Fighter - Yang's Heroine (2001), The Legend of Lu Xiaofeng (2007), Clan Feuds (2007) and Rose Under the Gun (2011). He made occasional forays into film, directing the kung-fu comedy Shaolin Kung Fu Kids (1994) and the martial arts film The Legend of Deer County (2010), the latter a Mainland Chinese production.
